Our ELDORADO ESPIRAL necklace is designed and handcrafted by Colombian artisans with a special affinity for pre-Columbian cultures, their symbolism, and artistry. The spiral, a highly recurring shape in nature, held profound meaning for several pre-Columbian cultures. It represented a cyclical view of life, death, and rebirth, earning it the name Spiral of Life. Inspiration for this necklace comes directly from the pre-Columbian spiral motifs exhibited at the Museum of Gold in Bogota, Colombia's capital, home to the world's largest collection of pre-Columbian goldwork. This piece was carefully crafted in 24K gold-plated pewter with a protective cataphoretic lacquer finish for higher durability and an elegant, luminous touch.
