MAÏZA BRACELET - Handmade - 24K gold-plated - Corn leaves
Estimated delivery date in Europe (Day/Month): 00/00 - 00/00
Our MAÏZA bracelet is an authentic and intricate design that blends handweaving with the organic appeal of upcycled vegetable fibers. Handcrafted with discarded corn leaves from small farms, their treatment involves processes such as dyeing with natural and mineral pigments, drying, splitting in long strips, and weaving on a homemade handloom. A reinforced stitch finish ensures a firm, long-lasting, and superior quality. To add a touch of charm and sophistication, two robust 24K gold-plated pewter components were integrated, coated with a protective cataphoretic lacquer for higher durability and radiance. This distinctive bracelet showcases the collective work of artisans in Choachí, a peaceful Colombian town near Bogota and a touristic destination thanks to its 590-meter-tall waterfall, the tallest in Colombia.
