Elevate your outfit with the natural beauty of our COCOON SILKE necklace. Delicately handcrafted with genuine silk cocoons, this adjustable long piece is an eco-friendly, community-focused, and inspiring concept with a sophisticated design. It is crafted by Colombian artisans in El Meta, a department in the vast eastern grasslands of Colombia. The cocoons are meticulously harvested and treated in ethical conditions after the moths have safely emerged, ensuring no silkworms are harmed. They are then dyed with natural pigments, waterproofed, and varnished for a long-lasting and strong quality, so they hold their shape with normal wear, and preserve a natural texture and look. The necklace is adorned with agate, 24K gold-plated bronze components, coated with a protective cataphoretic lacquer for higher durability, and synthetic silk cords. All the artisans involved are female heads of household who have found in this project a sustainable income source to provide for their families.

 CARE INSTRUCTIONS: Avoid direct contact with perfume and/or body lotion and do not soak in water. If the silk cocoons get a little wet from rain, simply let them air dry. Silk is a strong fiber and they will not lose their shape or color. To clean, gently wipe with a dry cloth only and do not use any cleaning solution. Use the provided pouch to store your product in a dry place (and avoid humidity).
