DORA NECKLACE - Handmade - 24K gold-plated - Onyx
Estimated delivery date in Europe (Day/Month): 00/00 - 00/00
Our DORA necklace, handcrafted by Colombian jewelers, draws inspiration from the artistry of pre-Columbian goldwork. Ancient Colombia thrived with diverse indigenous civilizations: Muiscas, Tayrona, Quimbaya, and Calima are a few examples, all celebrated for their graceful gold creations. To them, gold symbolized power, spiritual connection, and artistic expression, creating sacred utensils, tools, and ornaments. The Museum of Gold in Bogotá, Colombia, proudly houses the world's largest pre-Columbian gold collection, with over 55,000 pieces. For this necklace, our artisans sought to evoke that rich history and sophistication of gold, beautifully paired with onyx's elegance. This piece is crafted in 24K gold-plated pewter with a cataphoretic lacquer finish for higher durability and radiance.
