Handcrafted by Colombian jewelers, our CORDÚLA necklace honors pre-Columbian civilizations. Its central pendant evokes the Muisca Cultural Round, symbolizing indigenous ritual gatherings. The Muisca were a prominent pre-Columbian culture in ancient Colombia. Leather cords, stones, and other pre-Columbian inspired charms (spiral of life, Calima bird, necklace plate) complement the design with sophistication. The pendant includes a back hoop and a sliding barrel to adjust and secure the cords' length. It is Inspired by artifacts at the Museum of Gold in Bogotá, Colombia, home to the world's largest pre-Columbian gold collection. The pendant and charms are crafted in 24K gold-plated pewter with a cataphoretic lacquer finish for higher durability and radiance.
