Our PLUMA necklace, a tribute to pre-Columbian cultures and artistry, is meticulously handcrafted by Colombian jewelers. The central pendant evokes the powerful symbolism of bird feathers and wings for pre-Columbian civilizations, representing prestige, divine connection, freedom, and sacred protection. Complementing this are three smaller charms: a jaguar's tooth symbolizing strength, a leaf symbolizing nature's vitality, and a poporo-ceremonial container for sacred coca chewing. This design's rich inspiration comes directly from the Museum of Gold in Bogotá, Colombia's capital, renowned for housing the world's largest collection of pre-Columbian goldwork. This necklace is crafted in 24K gold-plated pewter with a protective cataphoretic lacquer finish for higher durability and a radiant touch.
