SUNNIE NECKLACE - Handmade - 24K gold-plated
Estimated delivery date in Europe (Day/Month): 00/00 - 00/00
Our SUNNIE necklace is handcrafted by Colombian jewelers with a deep affinity for pre-Columbian cultures. For the Muisca, one of the most prominent pre-Columbian civilizations in Colombia, the sun god Xué (or Sué) held a multifaceted significance, symbolizing life, agriculture, and power. He was a central deity, husband to the moon goddess Chía. For this design, our artisans drew inspiration from pre-Columbian sun motifs at the Museum of Gold in Bogota, Colombia's capital, which houses the world's largest collection of pre-Columbian goldwork. This necklace is crafted in 24K gold-plated pewter with a protective cataphoretic lacquer finish for higher durability and a radiant touch.
