Stand out with the natural beauty of our COCOON CLASSIC earrings. Delicately handcrafted with genuine silk cocoons, these pieces are an eco-friendly, community-focused, and inspiring concept with elevated design. They are crafted by Colombian artisans in El Meta, a department in the vast eastern grasslands of Colombia. The cocoons are meticulously harvested and treated in ethical conditions after the moths have safely emerged, ensuring no silkworms are harmed. They are then dyed with natural pigments, waterproofed, and varnished for a long-lasting and strong quality, so they hold their shape with normal wear, and preserve a natural texture and look. The design is completed with 24K gold-plated bronze fish hooks. These are coated with a protective cataphoretic lacquer for higher durability and are hypoallergenic. All the artisans involved are female heads of household who have found in this project a sustainable income source to provide for their families.

Silk is a strong fiber and they will not lose their shape or color. To clean, gently wipe with a dry cloth only and do not use any cleaning solution.
