Discover our ZENÚ clutch, a piece that captivates with the organic appeal of its plant fibers and its deep artisanal tradition. It is handmade in Colombia using wild cane (caña flecha), a type of long grass similar to sugarcane in appearance, but known for its extremely resistant and flexible fibers, ideal for fine braiding. The meticulous creation process involves harvesting, dyeing, drying, and cutting, followed by the detailed manual braiding of the fibers. Each bag is composed of numerous sewn braids and is finished with a discreet fabric interior lining and a secure zipped pocket. It is crafted by Zenú artisans, a community of indigenous heritage from the Colombian northwest, who are traditional masters in braiding wild cane, also used to create the "sombrero Vueltiao" (a traditional folding hat), one of the national icons and symbols of Colombia. The piece includes a durable, removable, silver-tone metal chain as a gift.

 CARE INSTRUCTIONS: Avoid contact with water. If the clutch gets wet, use a dry cloth or towel to absorb as much liquid as possible, then let it air-dry completely in the shade. To clean, gently wipe the piece with a dry cloth only. If necessary, you may also use a semi-wet cloth and let it air-dry. Do not use any cleaning solutions. To maintain the quality and vibrant colors of the fibers for long-term beauty, avoid frequent and prolonged exposure to direct sunlight. For an occasional polish and shine boost, apply a small amount of color-neutral beeswax with a soft cloth and carefully buff to a gentle luster. This could be done once every six months. Use the provided pouch to store your product in a dry place (and avoid humidity).
