COLOR PSYCHOLOGY:
What does your favorite color say about your personality?

Consciously or not, we all have a color that we particularly like. Just look at your living room decor, your wardrobe, or your shoe rack to find out. But do you know what your favorite color reveals about your personality?

Scientists have proven that colors not only enhance you and influence your mood, but also reveal your character. Whether it's for clothing, interior design, or a vehicle, the choice of colors and shades is never neutral and is often linked to our early childhood. Thus, our favorite color can say a lot about our temperament. Colors also influence our daily well-being. This is why the interest in the therapeutic virtues of colors is growing.

Color psychology

WHITE: SIMPLICITY AND RENEWAL.

A symbol of purity, innocence, and naivety, white has strong connotations of youth and purity. If you are an older person, your preference for white may indicate a desire for perfection and impossible ideals, perhaps a desire to be young again. It may also symbolize a desire for simplicity or a simple life. White is the color of renewal, the color we love when we start a new chapter. A sign of freedom and innocence, white attracts optimistic people who can be counted on. Organized and neat, they are not afraid of change and always seek perfection. At the same time, they like to spend time alone because they enjoy their own space, which helps them feel confident.

BLACK: SERIOUS AND ENIGMATIC.

Black is the color that we take seriously. It is a color that is enigmatic and dark. Often seen as an indicator of power and prestige, black shows seriousness and intelligence. People who regularly wear black are ambitious, but also sensitive. They tend to be emotional without showing it and if they are very cheerful, they prefer to keep it to themselves. Far from hiding behind this color, they prefer to opt for neutrality. Black does not attract the eye but brightens up your personality.

GREY: PEACE AND COMPROMISE.

This is the color of caution and compromise. Those who choose it as their favorite color are diligent and committed to keeping things peaceful. Grey is generally appreciated by people who are logical and not very emotional. They are objective and self-controlled in all circumstances; traits that are key to their professional success. As they age, grey lovers will aspire more and more to have a stable life without surprises. If grey is your color of choice, it's because you don't like to be noticed and prefer to play the "invisible". A sign of tranquility and maturity, grey especially represents personalities that are difficult to identify and that prefer neutrality.

BLUE: TRANQUILITY AND HARMONY.

This is the color of the ocean, and like it, you look powerful and determined on the surface, but beyond that appearance, you are vulnerable, restless, and deep. You seek harmony and peace, and you are very generous with those around you. Blue represents tranquility, intelligence, and efficiency. Moreover, if you wear blue during an interview, you will establish yourself as a serious, rigorous, and calm person. Blue is often worn by courteous people, often shy, but always friendly and rather calm.

No one will be surprised to read that red is the color of strength and vitality. A source of persuasion, all shades of red surely attract attention as it is the symbol of energy. In fact, according to psychologists at the University of Rochester, New York, men are particularly attracted to women wearing red.
